A safe, confidential and compassionate space where emotions, difficult feelings and experiences can be expressed, acknowledged and worked through.
Life brings challenges and it is understandable that we may look for support in facing them. As a counsellor my role is to provide a safe space to help you explore your circumstances and self discovery. This can empower you to make your own meaningful choices to move forwards in your life.
Together we can explore your situation in a way that leads to fresh perspectives. Counselling isn't about giving you solutions, or advice but it can help you make sense of challenges, understand yourself better and empower you to make your own changes.
I work with a diverse community of people, coming to me with a varied range of problems. As a fully qualified counsellor I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their codes of ethical working and good practice. I am also a practitioner member of The Black, African and Asian Therapy Network.

Respect and honesty
Working together
Counselling is an opportunity for you to reflect on your life—both past and present. My goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space for you to explore your experiences, thoughts, and feelings. I believe that you are the expert on your own life. Rather than telling you what to do, I offer a therapeutic partnership built on honesty and collaboration.
Together, we will explore where you are in your life, helping you to understand your emotions and develop the clarity and empowerment needed for the changes you wish to make. Though discussing difficult emotions and painful memories can be challenging, I will be here to support you throughout the process, helping you move toward healing.
People come to me for help with a wide range of issues. Here are some common difficulties that can be supported through counselling:
Feelings of anxiety
Depression
Relationship and family problems
Confidence or self-esteem
Trauma and post-traumatic stress
Sexual abuse and assault
Discrimination
Loss of relationships
Endings and transitions
Loneliness
Emotional abuse
